What to Expect: Care Guidelines & Service Policies

At Wellness Therapy WoRx, we are committed to delivering personalized, holistic care in a respectful and professional environment.

Scheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows

We value your time and reserve appointments specifically for you. To provide the best care for all our clients, we have established the following policies:

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a $50 late cancellation fee.
  • Missed appointments without notice will be charged 50% of the session fee.
  • Exceptions may be made in emergencies at our discretion.

Care Packages

Our care packages offer discounted rates for multiple sessions and are designed to support your wellness journey.

  • Care packages must be paid in full unless a payment plan is arranged.
  • If you miss or cancel a session late, it will be deducted from the package.
  • Sessions can typically be rescheduled within 30 days, subject to availability.
  • Care packages are non-refundable but may be transferred to a family member or friend with written approval.
  • All package sessions must be used within one year of purchase unless otherwise specified.

Payment & Insurance

We operate primarily as a private-pay practice to focus completely on your care needs without insurance restrictions.

Payment Information

  • Payment is due at the time of service.
  • We accept cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, and all major credit cards.
  • A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card payments.
  • HSA/FSA cards are accepted for eligible services.

Insurance Options

  • We do not bill commercial insurance directly.
  • We can provide a superbill for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement.
  • It is the client's responsibility to check their plan's benefits and submit claims.

Hygiene & Health

To ensure a clean, comfortable experience for everyone, we ask that you:

  • Maintain good hygiene and dress appropriately for your session.
  • Prepare a calm, designated space to support your healing session.
  • Avoid wearing strong fragrances or perfumes.
  • Inform us of any allergies or sensitivities before your session.
  • If you're feeling unwell, have a contagious illness, or a skin condition that may interfere with treatment, please contact us to reschedule.
  • We maintain strict sanitation protocols between clients for your safety.

Conduct & Professional Boundaries

We maintain a safe, professional therapeutic space for all clients and practitioners.

  • Any inappropriate behavior or language will result in immediate termination of services.
  • Treatment is provided within the scope of occupational therapy and complementary wellness services.
  • We do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medications.
  • We are happy to coordinate with your healthcare team, with your written consent.

Depending on your care plan, you may also receive:

  • Remote check-ins between visits
  • Personalized home programs and tools
  • Collaboration with your healthcare providers
  • Supportive resources tailored to your goals
  • Education about your condition and self-care strategies
  • Progress tracking and plan adjustments as needed
