Do you accept insurance?

At this time, Wellness Therapy WoRx operates as an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance directly. However:

  • We can provide a superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurance provider
  • Many clients receive partial reimbursement for out-of-network occupational therapy services
  • We recommend checking with your insurance plan about coverage specifics
Tip: Ask your insurer about coverage for CPT codes 97165 (evaluation), 97140 (manual therapy), and 97535 (self-care training).

What's included in the consultation fee?

Your 60–90 minute initial consultation is a comprehensive foundation for your care:

  • In-depth health and functional assessment
  • Review of medical history and current concerns
  • Discussion of your personal goals and lifestyle
  • Personalized treatment plan with clinical recommendations
  • Time for all your questions

This session is required before starting any follow-up services to ensure your care is properly individualized.

How do care packages work?

Our care packages provide discounted, bundled services for ongoing needs:

  • Includes 1 initial consultation + multiple follow-up sessions (3, 6, 9, or 12)
  • Priority scheduling and flexible coordination
  • Discounted rate (5-10% off individual session pricing)
  • Best for: Pelvic floor rehab, lymphedema management, postpartum recovery
Bonus: Package clients receive exclusive resources and extended support between sessions.

Do I have to pay for a package upfront?

Yes, care packages are billed upfront to secure your discounted rate. However:

  • We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, HSA/FSA cards, personal checks, debit cards, and all major credit cards. A 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments. Payment is kindly requested at the time of service.
  • Payment plans available (2-3 installments)
  • Discuss options during your consultation

Can I use a care package for virtual or in-home sessions?

Absolutely! We offer flexibility to meet your needs:

  • In-home: Available throughout Northern/Central NJ (travel included)
  • Virtual: Select services available via secure telehealth platform
  • We'll determine the best format during your consultation

What if I need to reschedule or cancel a session?

We understand life happens! Our cancellation policy:

  • 24+ hours notice: No charge (easy rescheduling)
  • Less than 24 hours: $50 late cancellation fee
  • No-shows: 50% of session fee
  • Emergencies: Always accommodated when possible

Package sessions: Late cancellations count as a used session.

Are travel fees included in the pricing?

Our standard service area includes most of Northern and Central NJ with no travel fees:

  • No extra charge within 20 miles of our base location
  • Extended areas (20-30 miles): Small travel fee may apply
  • Beyond 30 miles: Custom quote provided

We'll confirm any travel fees before your first visit.

Can I book a single session instead of a package?

Yes! While packages offer savings, we welcome single-session clients:

  • Initial consultation required for all new clients ($275-$325)
  • Follow-up sessions available individually ($240-$310)
  • Great for: One-time needs, maintenance visits, or trying our services
